Polish law of succession – general information


Polish law of succession is mainly regulated in the fourth book of the Civil Code of the Republic of Poland of 23 April 1964 (Polish Civil Code, CC). Other provisions, regulating the property of a deceased person (bequeather) after his death can also be found in other books of the Polish Civil Code, as well as in special provisions of other statutory laws (such as the Banking Law, the Labor Law, the Code of Commercial Companies etc.)
